Valérie Dittli

Councillor and Head of the Department of Finance and Agriculture, État de Vaud

Valérie Dittli grew up on her family's farm in Oberägeri in the canton of Zug. In 2011, she began her law studies at the University of Lucerne, completing a semester in Lausanne. From 2016 to 2020, she worked as an assistant doctoral student at the Faculty of Law at the University of Lausanne, where she also wrote her doctoral thesis. In 2021, she began a legal internship, first at the Cantonal Tax Administration of the Canton of Bern and later at a law office in Bern.
In September 2020, she was elected President of the Vaud CVP. Valérie is one of the architects of the local merger with the Civic Democratic Party and becomes the first president of the Centre Vaud. During the 2022 cantonal elections, she ran for the State Council on the list of the Alliance vaudoise, which she had helped to set up. She was elected in the second round of voting on 10 April 2022. On 1 July 2022, she takes up her position as State Councillor for Finance and Agriculture.
