Sarah Wyss

Sarah Wyss has been a member of the National Council (SP) since December 2020 and is a strong advocate of a solidary, affordable healthcare system. As President of the Finance Committee and a member of the Social Security and Health Committee, she brings together health policy and financial perspectives. Previously, she was President of the Committee for Health and Social Affairs of the Cantonal Parliament of Basel-Stadt and, until the beginning of 2025, Head of the Medical and Nursing Directorate of the "Universitäre Psychiatrische Dienste Bern". Her extensive experience in politics, practice and foundation work make her a competent voice for sustainable, public welfare-oriented healthcare.
