Prof. Dr. med. univ. Josef Jenewein

Prof. Dr. med. univ. Josef Jenewein is a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy.

After studying medicine at the University of Innsbruck, he qualified as a professor at the Medical Faculty of the University of Zurich in 2009. From 2008 to 2018 he was Head of Consultation and Liaison Psychiatry at the University Hospital of Zurich and from 2014 to 2019 President of the Swiss Society of Consultation and Liaison Psychiatry (SGKLP).

From 2018 to 2021 he will be Chief Physician at the Zugersee Clinic (Triaplus AG) in Zug and from 2021 to 2022 Professor of Medical Psychology, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics at the Medical University of Graz. From 2022 he will be Medical Director of the Hohenegg Private Clinic in Meilen, Zurich.

His research focuses on psychosomatics, stress and coping.
