Priv. Doz. Dr Titus Brinker is a dermatology specialist, entrepreneur and dedicated AI researcher. As head of a 20-member working group at the German Cancer Research Centre (DKFZ), he researches AI-supported skin cancer diagnostics and develops apps with a medical background that are used by companies in various industries.
After studying medicine and completing his doctorate in Giessen and Frankfurt, he took up his first position at the University Dermatological Clinic in Essen and moved to the DKFZ in 2017. He founded the multinational network "Education Against Tobacco" (EAT) and has already received numerous awards for his work, including the Dermatology Innovation Award (2019), the Young Research Award (2018) and the "Vision Zero" Award (2023). In 2023, he habilitated on the topic of AI at the University of Heidelberg.
