Otto Bitterli

Otto Bitterli is Managing Director of bi-digital GmbH, which he founded in 2017. Previously, he served for over 14 years as CEO of Sanitas Health Insurance, where he played a key role in shaping the company’s strategic direction and digital transformation. A seasoned executive, he currently holds several board positions, including at Helvetic Care AG, Klinik Teufen Groupe AG and as Senior Advisor at McKinsey. He also serves as President of the jury for the Victor Award, which honours excellence in the healthcare sector. Otto Bitterli is actively involved in supporting and advising health-related start-ups, such as BenitaSana and Everlife.
