Martin Dätwyler

Martin Dätwyler has been Director of the Basel Chamber of Commerce since April 2018, and President of the Swiss Chambers of Commerce and Industry (SIHK) from 2021. He has been with the Chamber of Commerce since 2002 and previously held a senior position at the Federal Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications (DETEC).

Dätwyler has a strong network in the Basel region and is a member of numerous regional, national and tri-national business committees. He has represented the Canton of Basel-Landschaft in the Landrat since March 2019. He studied geography and biology at the University of Berne and completed an NDS Executive MBA Integrated Management and a CAS in Politics and Economics at the University of St. Gallen.
