Marcel Plattner

Marcel Plattner has been CEO of Gebro Pharma AG Switzerland since 2006 and is a leading figure in the Swiss pharmaceutical industry. With an academic background in chemistry and business administration, he combines scientific expertise with entrepreneurial skills to drive innovative solutions in the healthcare sector. Under his leadership, Gebro Pharma has achieved significant growth, particularly in the areas of rheumatology, dermatology and rare diseases.

Since 2017, Marcel Plattner has also been President of VIPS (Association of Swiss Pharmaceutical Companies), which represents more than 100 pharmaceutical companies. In this role, he advocates a balanced dialogue between regulation, innovation and fair pricing.
