Dr. med. Jan Philipp Gelzer

Dr. med. Jan Philipp Gelzer grew up in the south of Germany as a Swiss citizen. He studied Medicine in Tübingen and began his surgical training at a large cantonal hospital in the center of Switzerland. In 2005 he moved out of the clinical domain into medical technology where he started his career as Clinical Director for an IT company, specializing in clinical workflow management solutions. He joined Siemens Healthineers in Zürich in 2008 and has since held multiple positions. He is member of the management board. Since 2024 he is Head of Advanced Therapies & Enterprise Services, in the latter function being responsible for strategical value partnerships. Dr. J. Philipp Gelzer works as a General Practitioner 2-3 days pers month. He is married with two kids and lives in Zürich.
